June 25 - 6:00-7:00
Ludington Library
Showing someone you are interested in a conversation (even when you are not!) is important to developing friendships and relationships as we get older. Through this workshop, we will learn what active listening is and why it is important for school and social situations. We will also learn how to “fake it” when we are not interested in what someone is saying, and we will talk about why we might not be interested. Active listening and perspective taking are foundational skills for conversations and peer negotiations.
